Biography
JONATHAN DEL ARCO (Actor) comes to Cornerstone after twenty years as a professional actor and five years as a political activist. Some of his theater credits include Always Running (Cornerstone), Torch Song Trilogy (First National Tour), Rooster (World Premiere INTAR), Spoils Of War (Broadway), Blood Wedding (La Jolla Playhouse), The Virgin Molly (Circle Rep), Ellegies (Cannon Theatre), House Arrest (Taper and ART), Christmas Carol and California Scenarios (SCR). He has spent six years in SCR’s Hispanic Playwrights Project and two summers at The Institute on the Arts and Civic Dialogue at Harvard. On television he is best known for two roles: Hugh Borg on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Sophia Lopez on Nip/Tuck. Some other guest spots include The Da, The Division, First Monday, Sisters, Grosse Pointe, Star Trek: Voyager, Pearl, The Wonder Years, Blossom and Boy Meets World, as well as the films The Mambo Kings, Lost Angels and True Rights. Politically Jonathan has worked with Rob Reiner on three successful campaigns. He is honored and excited to be merging his two passions, art and politics, as a Cornerstone ensemble member.
